Mr Benns fancy dress costume terms and conditions

TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF HIRE

1. The Costume will at all times remain the property of Mr. Benns.

2. A security deposit of Ł50.00 is payable in advance. The deposit is refundable on return, after the garment has been checked.

3. The cost of any damage, or marks that require specialist cleaning will be deducted from the security deposit.

4. If a costume (or any part thereof) is lost, or damaged beyond repair the Hirer agrees to pay the full replacement cost.

5. Proof of identity and of address will be required.

6. Failure to return costumes on time will result in a surcharge of Ł10.00 per costume for the first day, and loss of total deposit if more than 24 hours late.

7. Costumes can be collected after 9.30am on the hire date, and must be returned by close of business on the date of return, unless by prearranged agreement.

8. Costume hire can be paid for by Cash, Credit/Debit card, or by cheque with guarantee card. Please note that if paying by credit or debit card the full hire and deposit charge must be paid at the time of booking.

9. A cancellation charge of Ł10.00 is payable if the hire is cancelled within 24hrs of the date of hire, and Ł5.00 if the cancellation is more than 48hrs from the date of hire.

For the purposes of this agreement, costume refers to the total costume including any and all accessories, garment carrying bags, coat hangers and packaging as detailed in the description at point of hire.
